Mission Statement

As the faith community of Risen Christ Parish, we are committed to the tradition of the Holy Roman Catholic church to be servants of Christ through steadfast acts of love, charity and compassion for the people of our northwest Montana community and for the world. We openly share the truth of Christ with all people in our humble service to God.
The commissions that coordinate the sacramental life of Risen Christ Parish follow from the Mission Statement: GOALS FAMILY LIFE & SOCIAL JUSTICE — To find ways to nourish the love, trust and intimacy within families, so that all human persons are given the respect and dignity due them. BUILDING, GROUNDS & OFFICE — To build a community of people who know each other, care about each other, and work together in providing time, talent, and treasure toward accomplishing our Mission as parish. EVANGELIZATION — To call our community to an ever deepening faith and to be a witness of this faith. COMMUNITY — To become a community of loving, caring, sharing people who profess Jesus as Lord within the Catholic tradition. (Please sign up as a family, couple or individual) SPIRITUAL LIFE & WORSHIP — Recognizing the liturgy as the source and summit of our life in Christ, we seek to become a worshiping community, deepening and strengthening the faith of all who gather here.

Safe Environment Virtus Training

The Diocese of Helena is committed to the care and safety of children and vulnerable adults. Materials posted on the diocesan website represent components of a comprehensive plan to ensure the care and the safety of those we serve.

  • A Criminal Background Check is required for all personnel: volunteer and paid, before interaction in programs with minors.
  • All personnel involved in programs with minors, must attend a comprehensive training program. Virtus training includes recognizing and reporting signs/possible signs of abuse. Continued training includes monthly bulletins for all priests, deacons, lay employees and volunteers working with children or vulnerable adults.
