Serving at the altar is an important and responsible ministry that enhances prayer. Children in the Fourth grade or above are welcome to participate in the Eucharistic Liturgy as altar servers. They will be trained to understand the structure and prayers of the Mass.
As an alter server, one will:
- Carry the cross, and the candles in the procession
- Assist the priest by holding the Missal for prayers
- Set the altar
