Safe Environment Virtus Training
The Diocese of Helena is committed to the care and safety of children and vulnerable adults. Materials posted on the diocesan website represent components of a comprehensive plan to ensure the care and the safety of those we serve.
- A Criminal Background Check is required for all personnel: volunteer and paid, before interaction in programs with minors.
- All personnel involved in programs with minors, must attend a comprehensive training program. Virtus training includes recognizing and reporting signs/possible signs of abuse. Continued training includes monthly bulletins for all priests, deacons, lay employees and volunteers working with children or vulnerable adults.
